Pinedale Anticline Working Group hosts two-day meeting May 5 & 6

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) will hold one of its quarterly meetings on Thursday, May 5 at 12 p.m. and Friday, May 6 at 10 a.m. in the Pinedale Field Office Rendezvous Room at 1625 W. Pine St., Pinedale, Wyo. Thursday’s agenda will include a presentation on key factors for successful advisory groups, a summary of the wildlife annual planning meeting, a report and recommendations from the Water Subcommittee and an overview of the 10-year socioeconomic forecast.
Friday’s agenda will include a survey of air quality, including a Sublette County-led discussion of the air toxics study, a presentation from Anticline operators on mitigation measures and an introduction to emission reduction devices from Encana.
The PAWG is tasked with providing recommendations and advice to the BLM on the development and implementation of monitoring plans, mitigation and adaptive management decisions pertinent to oil and gas activities in the Pinedale Anticline Project Area (PAPA). All PAWG meetings are open to the public.
