Rain, snow up high, temps 20-25 degrees below normal by National Weather Service June 17, 2011 Another strong low pressure center spinning over southwest Canada will shift southeast into Wyoming this weekend. A widespread precipitation event will accompany this weather feature across western and central Wyoming mainly Sunday and into Sunday night. Precipitation amounts of one half of an inch are likely in much of the higher terrain with local amounts over one inch, many lower elevation locations will receive between one quarter to one half of an inch. The precipitation will likely linger into Monday.
