Wyoming flags fly at half staff for Douglas soldier killed in action in Afghanistan

Governor Mead asks that flags throughout the state be flown at half staff beginning Friday, June 17 and ending sundown Wednesday, June 22 in observance of the recent death of Lance Cpl. Sean M. N. O'Conner, 22, of Douglas, Wyoming. Lance Cpl O'Conner's body arrives in Wyoming Friday, June 17. His funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 22. Lance Cpl. O'Conner died June 12 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
