Flood Warning for Green River south of LaBarge

MONDAY, JULY 4, 9:34 AM FLOOD WARNING FOR GREEN RIVER DOWNSTREAM OF LABARGE: The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Flood Warning for melting snow in east central Lincoln County in west central Wyoming until 9:30PM Tuesday. The Green River downstream of LaBarge is flooding portions of County Road 318. Low-lying areas near the river are under water. Water is also approaching homes near the river. The Green River near LaBarge crested at 9.3 feet and at 13,100 cubic feet per second (cfs) Sunday near noon. The river will slowly recede below hazardous levels by Tuesday near noon.
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Please report flooding issues to the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch 307-367-4378 and to the National Weather Service in Riverton 1-800-211-1448.
