Visitor Center
The Sublette Visitor Center/Chamber of sommerce organized many of the rendezvous events. The Visitor Center was a busy place over the weekend.

A lot of people stoppeed to look and take pictures of the old brands found recently on the outside walls of the Cowboy Bar.

2011 Journal Authors
Authors who had their articles selected for the 2011 Rocky Mountain Fur Trade Journal. L to R: Jim Hardee, Jim Hannonm Jerry Enzler, Ned Eddins, Nathan Bender, and Doyle Reid. The book signing was held on Thursday evening at the Museum. The authors gave presentations on their papers on Friday and Saturday at the Museum.

Bad Hand & Apache
Bad Hand (Michael Terry), explains the markings he has painted on his horse, Apache. The red neck marks signify that his horse has had bullet or arrow wounds in battle.

Lapita Frewin
Lapita Frewin gave children's programs with Native American crafts projects. Here she shows the kids how to make a sand painting. Each child made their own and painting, which they got to keep. This event was sponsored by Encana.

Burger flip
James Duran, from Shell, helped man the buffalo burger feast at the Museum of the Mountain Man. Here he demonstrates his great BBQ master skill with an impressive burger flip.

AMM Camp
The new grass lawn area north of the Museum was used as the American Mountain Man camp, with demonstrations and period wares for sale.

Skinning Beaver
The AMM skinned a beaver and prepared a plew during a trapping demonstration at the Museum of the Mountain Man.

Selling wares
Some of the AMM members had items for sale. Goods had to be period-authentic to the early 1800s fur-trade era.
