Two wolves killed in Wyoming

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reports: "On 7/8/11, WY Wildlife Services confirmed a three calves injured by wolves on private property west of Cody, WY. On 7/10/11, USFWS and Wildlife Services confirmed 2 calves killed on the same property. On 7/13/11, control was completed when 2 wolves were removed near the depredation site."
On July 17, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department confirmed an adult cow killed by wolves on a public grazing allotment northwest of Dubois.
So far this year, 10 head of cattle, one sheep, and one dog were confirmed as killed by wolves. In response to these depredations, seven wolves were killed.
