Local singer/songwriter Jared Rogerson will be filming a professional video of himself and his 5-piece band performing Friday, August 5 from 6 –7 p.m. in the American Legion Park in Pinedale. Rogerson and his band will be opening for Jalan Crossland, who is headlining the show in the park as part of the Pinedale Fine Arts Council’s summer parks series. Admission to the show is free.

"We've had several promoters for large venues request that we post a live video of our performance," Rogerson said. "We thought the perfect place to film a performance would be in an outdoor setting in front of our hometown crowd. This video is an important step forward."

Friday’s film set-up will feature two stationary cameras and two camera men/women recording the concert with professional equipment. The video is being produced and edited by Brian Hensien of Hench Media from Lander, Wyoming. Wright Media of Riverton, Wyoming will do the video production. The finished product will be in the style of an "Austin City Limits" type of video. It will then be posted on Rogerson’s website, www.jaredrogerson.com and on Youtube within a few weeks.
