Wyoming Resource Advisory Council meeting set for October 12-13

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet Wednesday, Oct. 12, and Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Pinedale Field Office, 1625 West Pine Street, Pinedale, Wyoming.
The field tour on Wednesday is open to the public and will depart from the Pinedale Field Office at 8 a.m. lasting all day. The tour will visit sites highlighting BLM efforts to improve habitat as mitigation for oil and gas development. People interested in attending need to provide their own transportation, food and water.
The Thursday meeting will begin at 8 a.m. at the Pinedale Field Office. Topics for discussion will include mitigation, restoration, monitoring and stewardship. The public comment period will be at the end of the meeting at approximately 3 p.m. depending on how quickly the RAC moves through the agenda. Interested persons may make oral comments or file written statements for the council to consider. Depending on the number of persons wishing to comment and time available, the time for individual oral comments may be limited. The purpose of the council is to advise the Secretary of the Interior through the BLM on a variety of issues associated with public land management.
