Wind River Archers begins archery season
December 2, 2011
The Wind River Archers archery club is restarting for the season. Anyone interested in archery is welcome to stop in at the range located upstairs in the Sublette County Ice Arena in Pinedale.
The range will be open on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00PM. They have bows and arrows available for newcomers to try and experienced archery instructors are on hand to answer any questions and help demonstrate how to use the equipment. To shoot regularly, you must become a member of the club and join the NFAA (National Field Archery Association).
The club plans shoots for next summer including league shoots, fun shoots, a women’s night or workshop. Youth programs in place for 4-H and scouts – newcomers welcome.
