Dave Bell took a drive south past Buckskin Crossing along the western flank of the Wind River Mountain Range Monday morning to start off the new year. "When I left this morning I was uncertain where I would end up! But, I headed south past Buckskin Crossing, Big Sandy Ranch, Sweetwater Guard Station and ended up at the Sweetwater Rest Area. The road is mostly dry, all the way. I even drove into the Sweetwater Guard Station, that's how little snow is in the southern range. A glorious day in the high thirties--maybe too nice!
