Sage-Grouse Working Group to meet Jan. 31

The Upper Green River Basin Local Sage-Grouse Working Group will hold their next meeting at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at the Pinedale Game and Fish Office located at 432 East Mill Street in Pinedale.
The group will be discussing various projects and allocating available funding. Additional topics will include a report from the Raven Subcommittee and review of a proposal to map and treat cheatgrass and other invasive plants in Sublette County.

The group is one of eight local working groups that were formed across the state. The group comprises ten local citizens representing groups interested in sage-grouse conservation. The role of the group is to develop and set in motion local conservation plans to benefit sage-grouse and, whenever feasible, other species that use sagebrush habitat.
