by Bureau of Land Management
April 12, 2012
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking public comment on a proposed adaptive management (AM) change to the Pinedale Anticline Project Area (PAPA) Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement Record of Decision (ROD).
The Pinedale Anticline Project Office (PAPO) has proposed minor wording changes in ROD Appendix C, Page C-1, to allow for revision of the PAPA Monitoring for Reclamation Success Plan. The revision will provide clarification and further guidance about the implementation of the plan to meet ROD reclamation requirements.
The formal AM proposal and associated documents are available at http://www.wy.blm.gov/jio-papo/papo/index.htm and at http://www.blm.gov/wy/st/en/field_offices/Pinedale/anticline.html. If approved, the changes to reclamation monitoring methodologies and the monitoring schedule would be implemented during the 2012 season.
Written comments on the AM proposal will be accepted until close of business April 25, 2012, and must be mailed or delivered to Eric Decker, Pinedale Field Office, 1625 W. Pine St., P.O. Box 768, Pinedale, WY 82941 or emailed to a href="mailto:egdecker@blm.gov">egdecker@blm.gov.
