Wyoming Range fisheries public meeting July 31
by Wyoming Game and Fish
July 24, 2012
Fish biologists with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will be holding a public informational meeting to discuss Wyoming Range trout populations and future management of Colorado River cutthroat trout in the upper Green River basin. The meeting will be held Tuesday, July 31, at the Big Piney Library, starting at 6 p.m.
Biologists will present information on fish distribution and species composition for streams within the Wyoming Range. Biologists also will discuss the past LaBarge cutthroat trout restoration project and direction for any future restoration plans to restore healthy populations of Colorado River cutthroat trout within currently occupied portions of their native range on the east slope of the Wyoming Range.
