Nice cutthroat, er, brookie
Update: Thanks to the readers and Wyoming Game & Fish Department who corrected this fish ID as being a brook trout and not a cutthroat. (Although we had people who called it a brown trout and a tiger trout too.) Photo by Dave Bell.

Dave Bell took on the challenge of long and grueling hike into the Upper Porcupine Creek Valley in the Upper Green on Sunday, August 26th.
"This walk totaled over 20 miles with about 2,000 vertical feet of climbing. But, the day was spectacular with sun, clouds, even a small shower and one small clap of thunder."

UPDATE Wednesday, August 29, 2012: "Nice Cutthroat Trout? Nope....between the POL Editor and myself we received enough emails to know I mislabeled this fish. Apparently the white tips on the fins is the key. A Brookie it is! I thought there was something fishy about that fish....haha." - Dave
