The public is enthusiastic about the opportunity to harvest wolves, as evidenced by the number of people applying for limited wolf hunting licenses in certain states. There are more than 20,0000 applications filed for Wisconsin's hunt, and more than 23,000 applications for Minnesota's hunt.
