by Cat Urbigkit, Pinedale Online! September 13, 2012 More than 23,000 people have applied for the opportunity to participate in Minnesota's fall wolf hunt. The state will use a lottery system to select the 6,000 licenses it will issue, with a price of $30 for residents and $250 for nonresidents. Although 6,000 licenses will be sold, there is a statewide quota of 400 animals to be harvested, split between two seasons.
