Date change for DEQ meeting with Ozone Advisory Task Force in Pinedale

Following the Upper Green River Basin Air Quality Task Force recommendations made in September, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will meet with the group on Thursday, January 10, 2013 (rescheduled from Monday, Jan. 7th). According to Todd Parfitt, DEQ Director, the department will discuss and give regulatory detail over each of the recommendations made by the task force. "As promised, DEQ is coming back to the task force to discuss where we see the path forward, challenges, and response to these recommendations," said Parfitt. The task force consisted of 26 individuals from the municipal area governments, county governments, DEQ, Bureau of Land Management, Wyoming Governors Office, United State Forest Service, public health, oil and gas industry, and local area residents. This meeting is being facilitated by DEQ at the Sublette County Library in Pinedale, WY at 6:00 P.M.
The meeting is open to the public.
