BLM plans Hoback prescribed fire

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) High Desert District (HDD) plans to conduct a prescribed fire 25 miles northwest of Pinedale, Wyoming, this winter or early spring contingent upon fuel moisture and weather meeting optimal burn conditions.
The Hoback prescribed burn will dispose of slash piles created during implementation of a sheltered fuel break along the Hoback Rim above the Hoback Ranches Subdivision. The piles are generally located west of Signal Hill and east of Kismet Peak.
