Nordic ski grooming report – Jan. 27, 2013
January 27, 2013
Report courtesy of Mike Looney, Nordic Trail Groomer Sunday, January 27th: A little foggy and cloudy today, warm, 27 degrees. Freshly groomed trails are Kelly Park, Kelly Tie-In, Lower Surveyor, Old Road Trail. Other trails not groomed, have ¼" fluffy snow on top of a firm base. The Nordic Warming hut is open to the public. You’re welcome to go in and warm up, put your ski boots on, have your sack lunch – no garbage services, please pick up after yourself when you leave. Road has a little dusting of new snow. There are several moose and deer around in the vicinity of Old Road Trail and Lower Surveyor. Please keep your pets under control and don’t let them chase wildlife. As always, please pick up after your pet and remove their droppings from the trail to help keep it clean. Should be fun skiing today!
Funding for Nordic trail grooming is provided by the Sublette County Recreation Board, through the Sublette County Commissioners.
