The Wyoming Livestock Board is doing a round of brand renewals. They mail two renewal notices to all expiring brand owners and brand renewals must be paid by Friday, March 1, 2013. Renewal price is $300 for 10 years.

The WLB has many renewal notices that are return as undeliverable. Because of this, they publish a list of undeliverable notices online and ask people to review the list and notify any family or friends that are on the list to contact the Livestock Board to renew and update their brands if they want to keep them.

Because people only have to register every 10 years, it is easy for people to relocate in that time and not think about changing the address on their brands registration. There may be people on the list who don’t realize their brand is expiring. There are a number of people from Sublette County on the Undeliverable list (Pinedale, Cora, Daniel, Boulder, Big Piney).
