Swearing in New school board member, Chris Nelson.

At a special meeting on June 20th, 2013, Sublette County School District #1 Board of Trustees appointed Chris Nelson to replace departing board member Doris Woodbury. Mrs. Woodbury resigned effective June 1st. Chris will be sworn in at a Special Meeting at 7:00 PM on June 25th, and serve the remainder of Mrs. Woodbury’s at-large term through November 30, 2014. Mr. Nelson has served as the District Manager for Rocky Mountain Power in Pinedale for 11 years and has been with the company since 1993. Chris has spent 24 years as a volunteer working with the Boy Scouts of America and the Cub Scout program. Chris and his wife, Shawna, have 7 children, 2 of which are currently in college.
