by Pinedale Fine Arts Council July 8, 2013 Think your animal or pet has an artistic flair? Find out by entering the First Annual Salt Lick Competition at the Sublette County Fair. Bring your animal’s best salt lick work to the Ag Center at the Fairgrounds by 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 27th to register, or drop them off at the PFAC office at 432 West Pine, Pinedale (between the Brew Pub and Blue Planet) before Friday, July 26. Make sure you fill out an entry form at the PFAC office or at the Fair prior to the event. You must have a name for your animal’s artwork and identify the artist’s species (cow, horse…etc.) Entries will compete for the Best of Show at a public reception at 7 pm. Stick around to enjoy a glass of PFAC punch and to vote for your favorite lick. Voting closes at 7:30 p.m. The winner will receive $100.00 and the opportunity for his/her salt lick to be showcased at county-wide PFAC events for the remainder of the 2013 year. Questions?
