Sweetwater Sheriff’s Office seeks information on fugitives

The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a pair of Rock Springs fugitives recently posted to the Sweetwater County Most Wanted list.
Sheriff Rich Haskell said Austin Jay Arndt, 20, is wanted on charges of Probation Violation and Robbery. He described Arndt as a while male with blonde hair and blue eyes, height 5'11', weight 165 pounds.
21-year-old Brandon Scott Nelson is charged with Probation Violation and Arson. Haskell said he is a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, height 5'9", weight 150 pounds.
Arndt’s charges stem from a strongarm robbery. According to court documents, Nelson set fire to a vehicle belonging to someone he was at odds with. Both cases were investigated by the Rock Springs Police Department in 2011.
Haskell asked that anyone with information on either of the men contact local law enforcement. Calls will be handled with discretion.
