Everyone is welcome to burn some calories before you eat all the turkey, dressing and pie on Thanksgiving by participating in the 23rd Pinedale Turkey Trot 5000. This is a 3-mile fun run, walk or trot and it starts at 9 AM on Thursday, Thanksgiving morning starting at Craig and Ellen Sheppard's house at 22 Sportsmans Loop. All levels of fitness are welcome and there are always some more adventurous participants who dress up in Thanksgiving costume. Everyone needs to register, however there is no charge to enter unless you want to get a long-sleeved Turkey Trot t-shirt. Registration starts at 8:30 AM.
