Obituary - David R. Walden

David R. Walden, 60, of Boulder, Wyoming passed away at his home, suddenly and unexpectedly, Friday morning November 1, 2013 of natural causes.
David was born June 10, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to Hubert and Helen Walden. He grew up in Mesquite, Texas and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1972. He married the love of his life Norma L. Mansfield July 29, 1978; to this union were born their two children Melissa and Derrick. David worked for the Sublette Co. Road and Bridge Dept. In his free time he enjoyed softball, pool, fishing and the boat club. He especially loved the times when he could enjoy his hobbies with his family. David was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church; He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and has had a relationship with his Savior since 1966.
David is survived by his wife Norma; Daughter, Melissa Alphin of Boulder, WY; Son Derrick Walden of Forney, TX; Mother Helen Walden; Sisters Janice Pedersoli of Winnsboro, TX and Linda Singleton of Lewisville, KY; Grandchildren Jennifer, Isaac, Christina and Jacob Alphin, Brayden Fritzel, Marissa Gramley, Janna Burwell, Chloe Burwell, and Kayla Jefferies.
He is preceded in death by his Father Hubert Walden and Brother Ronny Walden.
A memorial funeral service will be held Wed. Nov. 6 at 11:00 A.M. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pinedale. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Red Cliff Bible Camp, P.O. Box 846, Pinedale, WY 82941.
