November 3, 2013 AARP Tax-Aide which is a national service of the AARP Foundation, offered in conjunction with the IRS. It is a volunteer run program whose mission is to provide high-quality free assistance in the preparation and electronic filing of federal income tax return for low-and middle income taxpayers with special attention to those age 60 and older. Volunteers are trained locally and are certified by the IRS to assist taxpayers in preparing their federal income forms. This service has been offered for many years at the Senior Center in Pinedale.
