WLCI Local Project Development Teams to meet
Sublette County meeting on Nov. 14 in Pinedale

The Local Project Development Teams (LPDTs) for the Wyoming Landscape Conservation Initiative (WLCI) will meet at various locations in southwest Wyoming through the first half of November. Land owners, project proponents and the public are invited to attend the LPDT meetings which will include updates on existing conservation projects, discussions on potential new projects, changes to the ranking criteria, updates to the annual reporting form and the status of fiscal year 2014 projects. "We welcome anyone interested in landscape-scale conservation," states WLCI Coordination Team Lead Michele Windsor. "These LPDT meetings are a great way to meet like-minded folks and learn more about how the WLCI partners with different entities to benefit local resources." The LPDT meetings are scheduled for: Sweetwater County: Friday, November 1, 9AM, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Green River Regional Office, 351 Astle St., Green River, Wyoming. Lincoln/Uinta Counties: Wednesday, November 6, 10AM, Bureau of Land Management, Kemmerer Field Office, 312 Highway 189 N., Kemmerer, Wyoming. Carbon County: Wednesday, November 13, 10AM, Bureau of Land Management, Rawlins Field Office, 1300 N. Third St., Rawlins, Wyoming. Sublette County, Thursday, November 14, 10AM, Bureau of Land Management, Pinedale Field Office, 1625 W. Pine St., Pinedale, Wyoming.
WLCI is a long-term, science-based effort to assess and enhance aquatic and terrestrial habitats at a landscape scale in southwest Wyoming, while facilitating responsible development of the region’s valuable energy resources. The WLCI Executive Committee is comprised of representatives from the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Geological Survey, National Park Service, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Wyoming Department of Agriculture, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, conservation districts and county commissioners.
