Chamber warns of possible scam

The Sublette County Chamber of Commerce is warning area residents to be wary regarding an email that is circulating recently from a company called TrendSource. The email states it is looking for an independent contractor to conduct a property evaluation in Big Piney, Wyoming. The email begins, "Please let me begin by saying this is not spam or a scam. I obtained your information from the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce. TrendSource is looking for assistance in Big Piney, WY from an independent contractor. One of our Clients is trying to conduct a brief Property Evaluation on a property in Big Piney, WY …"
Terrie Swift, Executive Director of the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce has responded, "We have NEVER supplied information to this company."
Internet research indicates this company is located in San Diego, California and does Mystery/Secret Shopper services. Additional information about the company is available by researching its standing with the Better Business Bureau.
