August 5, 2014
The Pinedale Fine Arts Council (PFAC) is proud to present Austin, Texas garage rock duo The Ghost Wolves performing live Friday Aug. 8 at 6:00 p.m. at American Legion Park in Pinedale, Wyoming. Admission is free, beer will be sold and door prizes will be given away throughout the evening. So please come on out for the finale of the PFAC Summer Parks Series!
Carley and Jonathan Wolf named themselves The Ghost Wolves as a symbol of the band’s ferocious, primal sound and a nod to Carley’s ranch upbringing among hybrid wolves. The married duo are inspired by delta blues, loud garage rock, and American roots music- a genre they call ‘stomp and roll.’ Their new LP ‘Man, Woman, Beast’ was recently released on Nashville’s Plowboy Records.
The Ghost Wolves are known for their infectious on-stage chemistry and raw energy, presenting "face-melting riffs and unfettered noisy productions" (Austin Independent Music) to live crowds across the US (w/ 500+ shows to date).
Opening the evening will be local alt-country stalwarts 6 Foot Two performing as a four-piece.
The Ghost Wolves live in Pinedale is presented by the Pinedale Fine Arts Council with support from the Town of Pinedale, The Pinedale Travel and Tourism Commission and the Sublette County Recreation Board. The event receives additional funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes a great nation deserves great art, and the Wyoming Arts Council.
