Big Piney Centennial Monument unveiled
August 30, 2015

The Town of Big Piney held an unveiling ceremony for their new Centennial Park on Wednesday, August 26. The park is on the corner of Budd Avenue and Nichols Street, across from Burney’s grocery store and Bank of the West. Sculptor Georgia Bunn created the larger-than-life size bronze statues of a cowboy meeting a roughneck. American Legion Post 78 veterans were on hand for the flag raising to dedicate the new park and monument.
