Big Piney: Veterans will hold a flag folding ceremony at 10AM at the Big Piney High School, accompanied by productions by the high school and middle school bands and choirs. Different school groups will discuss the history and importance of Veteran’s Day. Girls and Boys State representatives will present their experience and talk about the importance of civic duty. Big Piney Elementary will host an event for students in which the boy Scouts will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. This will mark the beginning of the Elementary School’s card and letter drive, which encourages students to draw a picture or write a card for any servicemen or women whose address is provided to the school.

LaBarge: LaBarge Elementary will hold its Veteran’s Day program at 2PM.

Pinedale: 11AM in the Pinedale Auditorium. Please join American Legion Post 47 and VFW Post 4801 and Auxiliaries in honoring our veterans past and present. The Pinedale High School Band and Chorus will provide musical selections. Boys and Girls State Representatives will relate their experiences. A public luncheon will be served at the VFW Post 4801 following the program. At 8:45AM 5th graders from Pinedale Elementary will give a Veteran’s Day production at the elementary school gym. Boy Scouts will present the flag and lead students in the Pledge of Allegiance.
