Mack Rawhouser announces intention to run for Sublette County Commissioner

Mack Rawhouser, 40 year resident of Sublette County, announces his intention to run for a seat on the Sublette County Commissioners, as a Republican. Mack is a retired school teacher. Mack taught for 34 years in Sublette County School District #9. In those 34 years, Mack demonstrated the ability to work with a wide variety of people. Mack knows nothing can be accomplished, at any level without engaging the "team concept". This is one of the many strengths Mack brings to his candidacy.
Mack believes trust and transparency in this position is of the utmost. Doing what is best for Sublette County in the decision making process will always be his goal.
Mack has served our community on many boards including: • Chairman of Sublette County Recreation Board • Wyoming School Boards Association as the Representative to the Wyoming High School’s Activities Association • Wyoming School Boards Association Region 5 Representative
Currently, Mack is: • Vice-Chairman of Region 5 B.O.C.E.S. • A member of Western Sublette 9 B.O.C.E.S. in Big Piney • A member of Sublette County School District #9 school board.
Rawhouser moved to Sublette County in 1976 with his wife, Ruth. Together they raised their son, Charlie, in Big Piney. Mack is a proud veteran. Mack served in Vietnam (1969) during the 3 years (1968 to 1971) he was in the US Army. Mack is a 1975 graduate of Chadron State College. Mack and Ruth are now the proud grandparents of 2 boys with 1 baby granddaughter on the way.
Mack believes after 40 years in Sublette County it is time to give back to the people of the county. Mack can give the commissioner position the ENERGY, TIME, and COMMITMENT that the position and the people of Sublette County deserve.
