Several Pinedale student athletes will attend the 2016 Mountain States Yoga Regional Championship in Jackson on Saturday, January 30th. The competition will take place at the Pink Garter Theatre starting at 4PM. This event is a pre-qualifier event to the 2016 National Yoga Championship which will also be in Jackson, Wyoming May 20 - 22. Yoga competitions originated in India hundreds of years ago and became an official sport in India in September of 2015. It has become quite popular as a healthy sporting event in the United States with competitions held across the country. Everyone is invited to come watch the competitions and see what yoga moves these girls have in store.
