At approximately 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an unresponsive female subject at an address in Pinedale. Deputies and EMS immediately responded to the residence where they located the body of 87-year-old Bette Hagenstein. Preliminary investigation by SCSO deputies indicates the cause of death as natural causes.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office extends their deepest condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.
