Jackson Hole, China

Apparently there are some folks in China who love the American West and cowboy culture so much they have actually created a town replicated after Jackson Hole, Wyoming… and named it Jackson Hole!

Jackson Hole, China is a resort town in Hebei Province, China about 2 hours north of Beijing. The translated Chinese name is "Hometown, U.S.A". The 1,000 single-home housing development is in the mountains and has western architectural themes including log cabins, statues of cowboys on bucking broncs, wagon wheels, wildlife scene fireplace screens, horseshoes, Charles Russell artwork, antler furniture, John Wayne flair and more. There is even a Christian church in the center of the community. According to articles about the project, Developer of the Community, Liu Xiangyang says his selling point is more than architecture; his buyers want freedom and spirituality.
