Sharp-Shinned Hawk Photo by Fred Pflughoft

On Sunday (April 10th), Fred Pflughoft had just finished cleaning out the old nest material from his bluebird box and re-dug the hole for the post when this Sharp-Shinned Hawk made an appearance. He watched it for a number of minutes from his kitchen window thinking it would fly. When it didn't, he was able to put his long lens on his camera and sneak outside for this photo.
