Death Notice: James Newman

(Pinedale, Wyoming – May 16, 2016) On May 15, at approximately 3:00 am, the Sublette County Sheriff's Office received a report that a male subject that had possibly attempted suicide at the Sandy Beach area. Deputies and EMS immediately responded to the vehicle and found the body of 36 year old James Newman. Preliminary investigation by SCSO investigators indicate the cause of death as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences to the family of Mr. Newman.
