Free Baseline EKGs offered in February
by Sublette County Rural Health Care District
January 26, 2017
Sublette County EMS will be offering free Baseline EKGs the first week in February.
What’s a baseline EKG? An EKG or, ECG, is a recording of the electrical activity of your heart at rest. A baseline provides a "first look" at your heart’s activity by which to compare future EKGs prompted by suspected heart complications.
February 3 is the American Heart Association's Wear Red Day for Heart Health Awareness. Getting a baseline EKG is good for healthy individuals of any age with no current heart complications and/or those who have not had a baseline EKG performed within the last 12 months. To reduce wait times, please call to schedule. Walk-ins are welcome.
