February 10, 2017 US 189/191 through Hoback Canyon between Bondurant and Hoback Junction was closed on Thursday, February 9th due an avalanche snow slide that crossed the roadway. Road crews are working to clear the road. Crews are a bit shorthanded due to other avalanches that have closed the highway in the Snake River Canyon between Alpine and Hoback Junction and Teton Pass.
