Pedigree Stage Stop Race

February 1, 2017

Dan Carter the Pedigree Stage Stop director spoke to a full house at Pinedale Libraries Lovatt Room Tuesday night while a highlight reel of last years races played on a screen in the background.

Dan thanked the community for their terrific support over the last 22 years and made special mention of the Hamner family and their FFA students who do so much both before and after the race.

The youngest musher on the series this year was a 17 year old woman over Afton way, and the oldest musher on this years tour is Jerry Scordis. The always robust and good natured Jerry is competing at age 69 this year.

This years meal was a choice of burger or hot dog with all the trimmings, and potato salad. You could have either water or lemonaid. The dessert table was spread with brownies, cookies and what seemed to be the crowd favorite...apple pie.
