Early March
Ice on the Green River, bluebirds, still lots of snow
March 16, 2017
Dave Bell has posted a new album of photos from late February-early March. He reports seeing three bluebirds in Pinedale on Wednesday, March 15th, a sure sign of spring on the way. No sandhill cranes reported yet. He also sent in a photo of the ice jam buildup on the Green River north of LaBarge. Pronghorn are still lingering in the lower elevations and still haven’t started to move north due to the deep snow. Once they do start to move, viewers can watch them pass through on the Trappers Point Overpass Wildlife webcam. Click on this link to see Dave's latest photos: Dave Bell Photo Gallery
