2017 Sublette County Fair Lynn Thomas Memorial Art Show closes

The 2017 Sublette County Fair Lynn Thomas Memorial Art Show came to a close on Saturday, July 29. There were 157 paintings, seven sculptures, and four pieces of pottery.
Judge Cristy Anspach awarded the $100 "Best of Show" to Pinedale artist Richard Burke. Charmian McLellan placed the $50 "Director's Choice" ribbon on Dubois artist Gary Keimig's painting. Young guest artist McKenzi Davison won "People's Choice".
The Purchase Awards are as follows: First Bank: Kay Meeks of Daniel; Farm Bureau Financial Services: Debbie Despain of Big Piney and Madeleine Murdock of Pinedale; Betty Fear: Robin Sruoginis of Pinedale; and Jo Crandall: Charmian McLellan of Boulder.
The show featured artists from Sublette County, Teton County and Dubois, Wyoming; Arizona, Idaho, and Florida, as well as Kendall Smith of Wildcat Silver and Goldsmiths from Reed Point, Montana.
