The National Audubon Society 118th Annual Christmas Bird Count will be held on Sunday, December 31st, New Year’s Eve Day. Birds are counted within a 7.5 mile radius of the Pinedale Library. Organizer Elizabeth Boehm has a list of routes and birds. People are welcome to contact her with new routes.

This year there will also be "Count Week" from Dec. 28th to January 3rd. Birds seen within 7.5 miles of the Pinedale Library three days before or three days after the bird count can be counted in the survey.

Everyone is invited to a chili potluck dinner at 5:30PM in the Pinedale Library boardroom for a slide show about birds and raffle prizes. To reserve your route and get tally forms from organizer Elizabeth Boehm at 307-367-7018.
