The Pinedale Lions Club congratulates Gary Sanders, this year’s winner of the Fremont Lake Ice Off Guess. "Bob" the yellow barrel hit the east shore of Fremont Lake at 10:36am on Friday, May 10, 2019. The Lions continued a long Boat Club tradition of anchoring a barrel into the lake ice at the completion of this year’s Big Fish Winter Derby. Tickets were sold for $10, with the winner receiving $500 for the guess "live" at the time of the barrel’s arrival on shore. Proceeds will benefit various projects in the community; as part of Lions Clubs International, all monies donated to a Lions Club are returned to the public.
