Please help support the Goddard family
To help the family as husband goes through cancer treatments
September 27, 2019
Wyitt Goddard, of Pinedale, was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. He will be starting treatment at the end of September in what will be a harsh nine month chemo journey at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. If 12 weeks of chemo can shrink the tumor, they may be able to remove it. If not, doctors may need to amputate his lower leg.
Wyitt and his wife, Arlaina LeBleu-Goddard, are both Pinedale natives. They have been married for six years and recently started a family and now have a six-month old son. Wyitt has worked for Levi Ditton and his company Specialty Drywall in the community for the last seven years. Arlaina has been working part-time at the Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale for the last seven years as a graphic artist.
Wyitt is the primary wage earner for the family and will not be able to work throughout this medical ordeal. Friends and family have come together and created a GoFundMe page on the family’s behalf. They are asking for community support to help the family cover their living expenses while going through the medical treatments. The family is also utilizing any programs they can qualify for to help cover their medical bills.
The GoFundMe account for the Goddard family is here: www.gofundme.com/f/benefit-for-wyitt-goddard-family Their goal is to raise $20,000 for the family.
