We received a report from Mindi Crabb of seeing a pair of bluebirds today, Saturday March 7, 2020, around Pinedale. Also a blackbird and several flocks of geese. The past week has been warmer with snow starting to melt. Migratory birds venturing back are sure signs spring is close to returning to the Upper Green River Valley. It has been a relatively mild winter. We had a report of a robin sighting on January 27th up by Boulder Lake. Mindi said last year, 2019, she saw the first bluebird on March 8th.
