As of Tuesday afternoon, May 19, 2020, Wyoming numbers rose by 54 from 529 to 583 reported positive COVID-19 cases since last Thursday. There have been 10 deaths due to COVID-19 in Wyoming. Fremont County now has 204 cases. Laramie went from 112 to 121 cases. Lincoln went from 9 to 11 cases. Natrona 39 to 51. Sweetwater 14 to 16. Teton 68 to 69. The US has had 91,570 deaths from COVID-19 to date, 1,523,534 cases, 283,178 recovered (Johns Hopkins) For comparison, CDC estimates that for this 2019/2020 season there have been 39-56 million flu illnesses, 410,000-740,000 hospitalized, and 24,000-62,000 deaths from flu in the US.
