New WYDOT road webcam installed on US 191 at Warren Bridge by Pinedale Online! September 9, 2020 An early winter storm brought strong winds, snow, icy roads, downed trees, power outages, crashes, and road closures across many parts of Wyoming after a beautiful Labor Day weekend. Rocky Mountain Power reported that over 12,000 customers in Wyoming lost power in the storm. Wind gusts of up to 110 miles per hour were measured. South Pass had its first Chain Law advisory for the winter season on Monday night before finally closing the road due to hazardous conditions and strong winds. Slushy road conditions and icy roads persist into Wednesday causing rolling closures on Interstate 80 and backed up traffic across Wyoming. Pictured here is the WYDOT webcam just east of Evanston, Wyoming around 9:30AM on Wednesday, Sept. 9th. Go to www.wyoroad.info for the latest road reports. |
