Town of Pinedale

Citizens may notice a small portion of Pine Creek conveying less water than usual along South Tyler Avenue. This portion of Pine Creek has been temporarily diverted to accommodate the construction of a retaining wall necessary for the new bike path along South Tyler Avenue. The Town of Pinedale has coordinated with the Wyoming Game and Fish regarding the diversion with goals of minimizing impacts to fish within the portion of channel being diverted. The diverted channel of Pine Creek will be restored as soon as possible. The other two branches of Pine Creek in the area remain fully active.
