Lunar Eclipse over the Winds

Dave Bell posted a great photo gallery of the total lunar eclipse on Sunday, May 15th as the huge super moon rose over the Wind River Mountains. We had a beautiful clear cloudless night and warm temperatures for a great viewing evening of this spectacular event. The next total lunar eclipse will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, which will peak above the Pacific Ocean, favoring skywatchers in the U.S. West, Eastern Asia and Australia.
